This week, Year 8 I&S students had a field trip to Cheung Chau to investigate how natural processes have changed the island over time. On the beach, they devised methods to measure the rate of longshore drift that created the island's tombolo. The students also hiked to a viewing point to draw a field sketch of Cheung Chau's landscape and annotate the island's features. Students had a fun day out with perfect weather.
