Warm Reminders
Weez Walk 2026 is a meaningful community initiative to raise awareness of youth mental health and much-needed funds for MindHK. As a school, we are committed to maximising our collective positive impact this year. To sign up students for the Weez Walk challenge, parents, please view the details and complete the eNotice on Gateway using your parent account.
Sports Team Kit Orders will close on Wednesday, 21 January. To order kits for sports that start immediately upon return after the Easter holiday, please refer to the details here. All orders will be delivered to your designated address during the spring break.
Pre-16 Uniform has options for outer layers for cooler weather. Non-school hoodies or jackets are not permitted. Plain black or dark blue tracksuit bottoms are allowed (no loungewear). Please refer to the Uniform Guidelines or shop at schooluniform.hk.
Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) will begin the week of 12 January.
School photo orders deadline has been extended to Sunday, 11 January. If you wish to place an order, please refer to the information on your student photo proof card and visit the photo company's website.

Find Your Purpose, Realise Your Potential
Horizons Week 2026 Information Sessions for students will be held from Monday, 19 January to Friday, 30 January. Please find out more via this link. Kindly note that all year groups refer to the school year 2026-2027.
World Scholar's Cup is open for signups. This opportunity could take you to Bangkok, Shanghai, or even Yale University. To participate, you will need to find two teammates to form a team of three. Please find the details here and contact Mr Nason to express your interest.
Dynasty Leadership 2026-2027 applications are open for Year 10 and Year 12 students. The application folders, available on the Student Bulletin, will be open for video uploads from Thursday, 15 January (8am) to Friday, 16 January (3pm).
Weekly Highlights
It has been a fantastic week seeing our community spaces buzzing with energy. The laughter and genuine connections between our students are truly what bring our school to life. We love seeing them support one another and strengthen the friendships that make our community so special. We are excited about making this another fantastic term together.
In response to student and staff feedback, we are excited to offer several new destinations for Horizons Week 2026. To ensure students are fully informed before enrolling, we will hold six information sessions for these new trips from 19 to 30 January. Kindly note that all year groups refer to the school year 2026-2027.
If a student wishes to find out more about an established trip, they are encouraged to contact the teacher listed on the poster or Ms Gilbert.
Our students take part in a wide range of activities outside of school. This includes tutoring, sports clubs, charity work and competitions. These activities provide fabulous opportunities for growth and development but it is always important to check if the club or organisation has the right safeguarding policies and procedures in place.

Our U12A Boys, U20A and U16A Boys teams secured victories in their first games of the term. Across the board, our female basketballers also displayed fantastic energy and sportsmanship during their opening matches. Well done to all the teams!
Over the winter holidays, our dedicated student athletes from the High Performance Student Athlete Programme (HPSAP) have achieved outstanding results.
Year 12 student Anya competed in the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour (MET) in Valencia, Spain, in December 2025. Competing on the international stage against a talented field of riders from over a dozen countries, Anya achieved a remarkable clear round in the Concours de Saut International (CSI1) (110cm) division.
As part of Team Hong Kong, China, Year 11 student Gwyneth participated in the 2025-2026 U18 Women’s Ice Hockey Tournament. Gwyneth's team won the Gold Medal.
Year 13 student Aidan was recently selected from a competitive field of players to join both the Hong Kong China U20 and the Singapore rugby squads. Aidan and his team delivered an outstanding performance, securing a dominant 52–0 victory.
Year 8 student Yu Han attended a world-class professional tennis event, supporting the best players on the ATP Tour as an enthusiastic ballperson. Yu Han thoroughly enjoyed the learning experience, gaining a unique, behind-the-scenes perspective on the dedication required at the highest level of the sport.

Following months of dedicated study, Tay championed the CityU Edge AIoT Programme, leading his team to first place and delivering the student closing speech. Tay’s rigorous preparation earned him a Bronze Medal in the HK Olympiad in Informatics (HKOI), placing in the top half of finalists after a competitive multi-stage selection process. Congratulations to Tay.
The Torch, a CAS group led by Year 12 students dedicated to youth and athlete mental health, invites you to a special screening of their documentary series. Created in collaboration with school alumni, the series explores the often-overlooked intersection between sport and mental wellbeing.
Join this student-led initiative for a night of film, honesty and conversation as our students bring together student-athletes, advocates, and the wider community.

As part of our Term 2 Wellbeing Week, 'Wellbeing Redefined', we would like to invite parents to join our Wellbeing Team and Dr Scarlett Mattoli, Clinical Psychologist from Psynamo Group, for a solutions-focused, 90-minute workshop designed to equip you with the insights and tools to empower your children to thrive in our high-achieving environment.
The session will cover building resilience, the power of rest and mastering digital balance.
