Today, we were thrilled to welcome back David Muoka (Class of 2018) and his brother Duncan (Class of 2023) to campus for an exciting exhibition match with our A and B Grade basketball teams. Students from Years 7 to 13 filled the stands to cheer on David and our basketballers, celebrating not just the game and a remarkable homecoming, but also West Island School’s shared passion for sports and sportsmanship.

Our Inter-Dynasty Star Search kicked off this week with an impressive dance showcase that lit up the stage. Although the weather led to a rescheduling of the solo and band performances, our talented students are excited to share their passion for music next week.

Following our students and teacher being selected in the inaugural Greater China BTEC Ambassador Programme, Pearson visited our school this week to observe our vibrant, hands-on learning environment in action—affirming our commitment to international education and vocational training.

Hotel toiletries collected during half-term travel would also be greatly appreciated and make a meaningful impact. Donations can be dropped in the boxes at reception.
