Monday was a dynamic start to the week. Our students participated in the inter-house athletics heats to determine who the finalists will be for the whole-school Sports Day on 13 February.
Whether you will be competing on the field or track, or cheering from the stands, we look forward to celebrating our community spirit together.
From Monday to Tuesday, Year 12 IB Film students raced against the clock to complete their mission to enter the Babel 48 Competition. They were to challenge to script, shoot, and edit a short film in just two days using one line of dialogue, one specific prop and one cinematic technique.
From frantic brainstorming to the final export, the creativity, teamwork, and determination were evident in every frame. We are incredibly proud of their dedication to the craft.
On Wednesday, our Years 7-11 students had their Pre-16 Assembly to celebrate student talent and their achievements. Everyone enjoyed the time spent together as a community, cheering on their peers and reflecting on their collective progress.
Well done to the students who made exceptional progress in the WIS cardiovascular Run. It was a wonderful opportunity to recognise the diverse strengths of our students and leave everyone feeling inspired for the weeks ahead.
Our Year 12 students are bringing vibrant colour to the B Block 8th floor. They will continue painting in the coming weeks, creating a large-scale mural in the Science Corridor designed to inspire curiosity and reflection.
Our baking enthusiasts have started developing their hands-on baking and decorating techniques. They are excited to explore even more recipes throughout the term.
We are inviting parents to come into school to watch the upcoming basketball semi-finals.

The U12 Girls Basketball team hosted its first home game on Tuesday and secured a fantastic opening win. The team's great defensive improvements and the continuous development of key skills—such as passing, dribbling, and shooting—led to this positive result and helped them advance to the next round. Well done to the team!
Last weekend, many of our students competed in the Hong Kong Aquathlon Championships. Well done to everyone for showing grit and determination. Congratulations to Year 10 student Marcus, who emerged as the champion.
