ESF CoCo is a foundation-wide computing conference for secondary students on 3 and 4 October. Students wishing to attend must submit the Parental Consent Form and register via this Registration Form. Year 10 to Year 13 students can also apply to host a workshop using this form.
Star Search submission form will be open until Monday, 28 September. Whether you are an experienced performer or new to the stage, we look forward to seeing you share what you love doing.

Weekly Highlights and Latest News
On Wednesday, our IGCSE Design and Technology students took part in an intensive practical day to advance their coursework projects. Applying theoretical knowledge to real-world challenges, students demonstrated critical thinking and technical precision as they crafted prototypes, tested materials, and refined their designs. This hands-on session enabled students to strengthen their problem-solving skills while making significant progress towards their final practical assessments.
WISustain, our student-led Environmental Council, introduced our new recycling programme during the year group assemblies. Students learned how to sort waste correctly using the dedicated food waste and dry recycling stations located across campus. This collective effort plays a key role in building a sustainable campus culture. We look forward to seeing our community continue to work together to make a lasting environmental impact.
Students across all year groups are actively engaging in Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS). They are exploring creative passions, staying active through physical pursuits, and leading meaningful community service projects. Through CAS, students are taking the initiative to develop leadership skills and create positive change within our school and the wider community.
Building on the strong momentum from the previous two weeks, our Year 10 and Year 11 students showed great focus and teamwork during their friendly inter-Dynasty futsal matches this week. Thank you to all the students who participated and supported their Dynasties.

Our U20 Girls Netball team secured a fantastic win in their match this week. They showed great teamwork and determination.
Our U12 Boys Rugby team played their first match of the school year at King George V School (KGV). The students displayed determination, teamwork and great sportsmanship against strong opposition. The game provided our young athletes with valuable competitive experience and key areas to focus on during upcoming training sessions.
Congratulations to Year 13 student Milo on being selected for the Hong Kong China U20 rugby training squad. This selection reflects Milo's hard work and commitment to the sport. We wish Milo every success during training and upcoming regional competitions.
Well done to Year 7 student Jake on his impressive performance in the Nissin Cup Hong Kong Junior Tennis Series. Jake finished as the first runner-up in both the U12 Competition 1 Singles and the Under-12 Competition 2 Doubles.
Year 8 student Lydia achieved outstanding results at the Asian Ballet Competition in Taiwan, winning Gold (1st place) in the Performance B group. Lydia was also awarded a partial scholarship for the ABC Finals 2026–27, an invitation to the AGP Osaka Audition 2027, and a scholarship for the Sensational Ballet Company Osaka Winter Intensive.

Over 220 musicians from seven ESF schools will take the stage at A Night at the Movies, performing music from film, television and musical theatre, with performances from orchestras, bands and choirs. Highlights include performances by the ESF Composition Contest and ESF Piano Concerto Competition winners, and a world premiere by the Senior Choir.
