***Special note for performers’ tickets, the Diwali Ball student leaders are sending out the RSVP Form to student performers, so please fill in the form with dinner preference. The buffet is priced at $100 per performer. An invoice will be issued via WIS e-Payment System following your sign up on the form.
Four of our students took part in a Hindi Diwas (Hindi Day) speech and poetry recitation competition hosted by the Consulate General of India. Year 10 Ojaswini Virmani wins the poetry recitation competition.
Year 11 Leah Moi has been selected as one of the midfielders for HKFC women’s team for the upcoming season.
Year 7 Luca Bai won the 12th Hong Kong Schools Dance & Arts Festival’s Piano Solo Diploma Grade Competition.
Three Year 10 students win third place trophy at Light 16 Race. The race covered 16km, with a 1,200m elevation and has a cutoff time of 6 hours. The girls came in at 4 hours.
The Year 13 Environmental Systems and Societies students contributed to species diversity research during their visit to the Swire Institute of Marine Science.
Year 13 Martina Sy said: “A conversation with experts revealed that the decreasing population of gastropods is not caused solely by the hot summer, but also because of the prolonged persistence of warm temperatures.
Last but not least, we were happy to hear that the former student David Muoka has become the first player from Hong Kong to sign an NBA contact.
We hope to support every student to be the best they can be in their education and future career journey.
