Inter-Disciplinary Learning (IDL) Week took learning beyond the classroom as Years 7 to 10 students explored real-world topics through inquiry, collaboration and reflection. From ten-pin bowling and hiking to exhibition visits, health, fitness and nutrition activities, students visited exciting locations like Kai Tak Sports Park, Ocean Park, PMQ, Central Market and the beach. Year 12 students also engaged in a hands-on and practical Collaborative Science Project. The week empowered them to build resilience, ask meaningful questions and connect learning to life.
Dynasty Day brought together our students for a vibrant celebration of teamwork, friendship and school spirit. Students participated in a variety of fun and engaging activities that encouraged collaboration and camaraderie. The energy was high, the smiles were wide, and it was clear that everyone thoroughly enjoyed being part of this memorable community-building event.
Following their Experience Day two weeks ago, our WIS 2025-2026 Year 7 students had a fantastic Transition Day. During the induction session, they explored the spirit of the House system - Dynasties, the IB Learner Profile, wellbeing support and the facilities that will support their school life. They connected with their classmates, engaged in meaningful reflections and are now ready to embark on their exciting journey with us.
Congratulations to our Year 11 GCSE Fine Art and Fashion & Textile students on their exhibition last Friday. Their talent shone brightly! We sincerely thank the parents and peers who attended the exhibition to support their hard work and creativity.
Year 12 students Joshua Chow, Thambu Kannappan, and Ryan Ng achieveed 2nd place in the 27th Hong Kong Science Technology and Innovation Competition.
After more than four months of dedicated research on streamlining the diagnosis and treatment of diabetic retinopathy through artificial intelligence and choice architecture, this team of three has been nominated by the Hong Kong New Generation Cultural Association to represent Hong Kong in a nationwide Song Ching Ling Children’s Invention Competition.
Joshua, Thambu and Ryan are now seeking opportunities to further observe and learn about the healthcare diagnosis process in real-world settings.
On Tuesday, a group of WIS student athletes had an unforgettable experience under the Cirque du Soleil Big Top. They participated in a lively fireside chat with gymnastics legend Simone Biles, a remarkable athlete with 41 international medals, including seven Olympic golds.
Our students were deeply inspired by Simone’s journey and the dedication required to reach such heights. They took home valuable insights, including the importance of setting both short- and long-term goals, enjoying the process, working hard and nurturing a healthy body and mind to become the best version of themselves.
Year 10 Li Ben Tam has been selected to represent Hong Kong in the U16 Basketball team. This is a fantastic achievement and a testament to his hard work and talent. Congratulations to Li Ben!

Charlotte Lee, Bridget Yeung and Rachel Chiang, Year 12 student leaders of the CAS Project Redress, planned and hosted an engaging upcycling workshop aimed at encouraging Year 8 EAP students to rethink their approach to clothing consumption.
During the session, Year 8 students learned how to transform pre-loved and worn-out garments into stylish and functional bags, gaining hands-on experience in sustainable fashion practices.
We are proud to celebrate our students' inspiring initiatives in promoting the principles of reduce, reuse and recycle. Well done to everyone who participated!
