Year 13 student Kush Zingade reported that, over the weekend of the 5th and 6th of October, 20 West Island students attended the Model United Nations conference at Nord Anglia International School, NAISMUN 2024.
The students were awarded exemplary performance in the League of Nations and the Arab League.
The Boys A Grade Badminton Team started their season with a win against Korean International School (KIS) at Sun Yat Sen Memorial Park Sports Centre on 14 October.
The Girls A Grade Swimming Team finished 4th overall in the HKSSF D2 competition Thursday, finishing off with an emphatic win in the 4x50 freestyle relay.

Year 13 Giselle Lee attended the Flag Presentation Ceremony for ISF Gymnasiade Bahrain 2024 delegated by Secretary for Culture,Sports and Tourism, Mr. Kevin Yeung on October 16,2024.
Year 11 Haidi Wu won the bronze medal at the U16 National Fencing competition in Shandong, China, among 200 participants.
On Monday 21st, students will complete the WIS Wellbeing Survey. This is done annually, in addition to social and emotional learning which is embedded throughout the curriculum, across all year groups.
